Marina del Rey is a vertical, HOA-governed market and the access rules matter more than the load. Most complexes restrict move-out and large-item traffic to specific hours, require the freight elevator to be reserved, and want a certificate of insurance on file before a crew is allowed past the gate. We carry insurance and we send the COI ahead rather than arguing with a front desk on the day.
Underground parking here is tight and low. A box truck often cannot get down the ramp, so the load comes up on the freight elevator and out through a service door to a truck staged on the surface. That adds carries, which is a real cost, and we would rather price it honestly on the walk-through than discover it mid-job.
Then there is the water side. Slip holders clear out old sails, cushions, canvas, batteries and marine gear, and much of that is not ordinary household waste. Lead-acid batteries, oils and solvents are hazardous and go to a S.A.F.E. Center, not a dumpster.
