In short Call or text Los Angeles Junk Removal & Hauling on (323) 230-0777, or email team@lajunkhauling.com. We are open 24 hours Monday to Saturday and 1pm to 10pm on Sunday. Quotes are free, upfront and carry no obligation.

The fastest route to a firm price is a text with photos. Send two or three of the pile and one of the way out — the staircase, the gate, where a truck can stop. That is genuinely all it takes to quote most jobs to the dollar without anyone driving anywhere.

Four things that set the price

What it is

Household furniture, appliances, e-waste, yard waste, or building material. The stream matters because each one has a different legal disposal route in California, and heavy material is charged by weight rather than volume.

How much

Roughly what fraction of a truck. A couch is a quarter. A packed two-car garage is most of a full one. Photos beat descriptions here every time.

Where it sits

Curbside, in a garage, upstairs, down a side yard, behind a locked gate. Interior and upstairs work is the main thing the free city pickup will never do.

How close we can park

In Santa Monica, Venice or Koreatown this is often the real constraint. Tell us about permit zones, alley access and loading docks and we will plan around them.

On the job
Our gray steel dump trailer with diamond-plate tailgate parked curbside on a Los Angeles County street, empty and ready for the next load

Our own crews on Los Angeles County jobs. Side yards, narrow walkways and the back of the property is where most of the work actually happens.

Worth checking first

You might not need us

If you are a City of Los Angeles resident with curbside items on a normal trash day, LASAN's bulky-item pickup is free and unlimited. Request it on the LASAN service request form, through the MyLA311 app, or on 1-800-773-2489, at least one business day ahead. It takes furniture, mattresses and box springs, carpet if it is rolled and tied, large wood and doors, and e-waste including TVs and monitors.

It will not take construction debris, automotive parts, commercial appliances, paint, chemicals, medicines or fluorescent tubes — and it will not come inside. Household hazardous waste goes free to any of the seven S.A.F.E. Collection Centers instead, subject to a state limit of 125 pounds or 15 gallons per visit.

Call us when the job is interior, awkward, heavy, prohibited at the curb, or simply on a deadline. That is the honest dividing line, and we will tell you which side you are on before you book.

Where we go

Greater Los Angeles, all of it

The Westside and South Bay — Santa Monica, Venice, Culver City, Torrance. Central and East — Downtown, Hollywood, Silver Lake. The Valley — Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, Woodland Hills. Plus Pasadena, Glendale and Long Beach. The full list is on the areas we serve page.

No yard, no storefront, no drop-off point. We are a service-area business, which means the truck comes to you anywhere on this map.

Getting in touch, answered

What people ask before they pick up the phone.

What is the fastest way to get a quote?

Text photos to (323) 230-0777. Two or three pictures of the pile plus one of the access route — the stairs, the gate, where a truck could park — is usually enough to give you a firm flat number in minutes. Quotes are free and carry no obligation.

Can I call outside business hours?

Monday to Saturday we are open 24 hours, so yes. Sunday we run 1pm to 10pm. Overnight calls are normal in this trade: move-outs, lockouts and property handovers rarely happen at a convenient time.

Do you charge for the estimate?

No. The quote is free, given upfront, and there is no obligation to book. If the city can do the job for nothing we will say so.

What should I have ready when I call?

Roughly what the pile is, roughly how big it is, which floor it is on, and how close a truck can get. Those four things are what set the price. If there is anything heavy — soil, tile, concrete, roofing — mention it, because heavy material is priced by weight rather than volume.

Do you send a certificate of insurance?

Yes, on request, before the job. Most Los Angeles apartment towers and commercial buildings need one on file before they will release the service elevator or the loading dock, so ask when you book rather than on the morning.

Can you take the job today?

Often, yes. Same-day junk removal is a large share of what we do, and the round-the-clock weekday schedule exists precisely for it. Call rather than email if today matters.

Do you serve my neighborhood?

If it is inside greater Los Angeles, almost certainly. The areas we serve page lists every neighborhood we cover regularly, from the South Bay up through the Valley and east to Pasadena.
