Working with Hunter and this company was great. Gave us a quick quote over the phone after sending photos and was able to help us the SAME day. Removal was fast and easy. We definitely recommend going with this company.
Whole-property clearing after a death, a move into care or a probate sale. Documents and anything personal set aside for the family. One flat number for the whole job.

Estate cleanouts are the one job where the hauling is the easy part. The difficulty is that a house full of belongings is also a house full of decisions, most of them being made by someone in the middle of a bad month, often on a deadline set by a probate court or an escrow date rather than by grief.
So the way we run these is deliberately slower at the start and faster at the end.
In person or over video for out-of-state executors. We look at every room, the garage, the yard and any storage, then quote the whole job flat — not per load discovered on the day.
Documents, photographs, letters, jewelry, medals, safes, medical and financial records. Staged in one room for the family. Nothing personal is thrown away without a decision from you.
Estate furniture is often better than the average junk load: solid, undamaged, worth a second life. Usable furniture, kitchenware, linens, books and clothing go to LA-area charities.
Room by room to empty, swept, and ready for a realtor, a locksmith or a landlord's inspection. Written confirmation of what was removed if an executor needs it for the file.
The pattern we see repeatedly: a family clears a house under time pressure, and only afterwards discovers that the furniture in the back bedroom was worth more than the entire cost of the clearance. An estate sale company, an auction house or a specialist buyer costs nothing to ask. Then we take the remainder, which is usually seventy or eighty per cent of the volume and none of the value.
If there is no time for that, say so and we will flag anything that looks like it deserves a second opinion rather than loading it quietly.

Our own crews on Los Angeles County jobs. Side yards, narrow walkways and the back of the property is where most of the work actually happens.
A full property clearance touches nearly everything we do. Room contents and furniture. Beds, which go through the state mattress recycling program. Kitchen and laundry appliances, including the refrigerant-bearing ones that several LA cities will not take at the curb. Decades of e-waste — tube TVs, towers, printers, cameras — all of which California classifies as universal waste and bans from ordinary trash. The garage. The yard, the shed and sometimes the hot tub.
And in almost every estate, a shelf of things that cannot go on a truck at all.
What comes off the truck before it goes on: paint, stains, thinners and solvents, motor oil and automotive fluids, fuel, pool chemicals, pesticides, aerosols, automotive batteries, propane cylinders, fluorescent tubes and mercury items, sharps and medicines. A general hauler cannot legally transport any of it.
All of it is accepted free, from City of LA and LA County residents, at the seven permanent S.A.F.E. Collection Centers — Hyperion in Playa del Rey, Nicole Bernson in Northridge, Randall Street in Sun Valley, Gaffey Street in San Pedro, Washington Boulevard downtown, LA-Glendale on Colorado Boulevard, and UCLA. Most run Saturday and Sunday 9am–3pm; LA-Glendale is Saturday only and needs a state photo ID at the gate. The hard limit is 125 pounds or 15 gallons per visit, which is a California transportation limit rather than a city rule, so nobody can waive it.

Executors usually need the disposal documented as well as done. We keep the streams separate for that reason, not just for the diversion rate.
The questions executors and families ask us most.
Clearing an entire property of its contents, usually after a death, a move into care, a probate sale or a foreclosure. It is different from a normal junk removal job in two ways: the volume is a whole house rather than a room, and almost everything in it belonged to someone who mattered to you. The work is as much about sorting and pace as it is about lifting.
Anything that looks personal, financial or legal is set aside rather than binned — paperwork, photographs, letters, jewelry boxes, military items, safes, deeds, medical records. We stage it in one place for you to go through, and we never make that decision for you. If you cannot be there, we can photograph what we find before anything moves.
Yes, and often do. We can walk the property on video, quote from photographs, coordinate with a realtor or property manager for access, and send written confirmation of what was removed. Round-the-clock weekday scheduling helps when the family is in a different time zone.
No, we are not an estate sale company or an appraiser, and we will say so rather than pretend. If there is genuine value in the contents, run an estate sale or bring in a buyer first and call us for the remainder — that sequence gets you more money. What we can do is flag things that look worth a second opinion before they go on the truck.
A one-bedroom apartment is typically a truck and half a day. A three-bedroom family home with a garage and a yard is usually two to four truck loads across a day or two. Hoarding conditions change the arithmetic entirely and get quoted on a walkthrough.
Yes, and estate contents donate better than most loads because the furniture is often solid and undamaged. Usable furniture, kitchenware, books, linens and clothing go to LA-area charities. What cannot be donated is separated into scrap metal, e-waste, textiles and landfill, in that order of preference.
Unmarked-truck scheduling, early mornings, alley or garage loading, and no signage on the street if a neighborhood or a family would rather this were private. Just ask when you book.
Quoted flat on a walkthrough or a set of photographs, priced by truck volume rather than hours. Multi-truck jobs are quoted as one number, not per load discovered along the way. See how our pricing works.
